YSF Location

is it possible to send location details via the pi star on the YSF system?
Ive lost track were we are currently with radio bourne gps and porting to aprs.fi etc. given the change over to using aprsgateway as a seperate feed to the network.
The older gateways handled gps forwarding and worked fine, im not sure where the current release is. The gateways did it no probs, but going forward aprs data its going to be passed to aprs gateway and that (afaiu) is not quite fully implemented yet ??
