Loosing Startup Link

Post by N8AWW »

I have Pi-Star setup tp start on the America Link 32542 and then I leave my Zumspot on 7 X 24. About once or twice a week I loose the link and have to go into the config screen and relink. Is there a way to fix this?

Configuration-Expert-YSF GW-Network-Revert 0->1. Does not solve the problem?

Seems to be working.
What exactly does this setting do?

This parameter returns the "YSF Startup Host" after "InactivityTimeout" if it was changed via radio.

This seems to have become an hourly thing over the past few days. Both YSF and YSF2DMR drop the link after about 60 minutes, and need a manual re-connect via the dashboard. 4.14, 4.15 both show this issue, and has been noted by a few others over on the Facebook page.

Changing Revert to 1 does not help, and setting the inactivity timeout to, say, 360 (from 0) has no effect either.

I am also experiencing this issue. I don't have time to sit and watch it continuously, but it seems to unlink from the YSF startup reflector every 60-90 minutes. Several other stations that are connected to the same reflector are experiencing the same issue. I am on 4.1.5. I first noticed this behavior about a week ago. I have tried flashing a fresh image, but the issue persists. I also tested this on another PiStar hotspot and the same issue occurred.

Setting YSF GW-Network-Revert 0->1 does not help the issue.

Thanks for all you guys do.

Here are a couple of screenshots from the logs. If I am reading it correctly it seems to disconnect after it runs an update.
