The CWid feature works but it only gives a couple letters of the repeater call sign.
I am using Pi-Star:4.1.0-RC2 / Dashboard: 20190905.
My repeater keys up for 3 seconds and then only sends a partial call sign. Has anyone else had this issue?
CW ID Does not give full repeater call sign
Re: CW ID Does not give full repeater call sign
Pi-Star:4.1.0-RC6 / Dashboard:20190905 here. Many transient issues have been addressed in updated/upgraded release candidates, so choose Configuration->Expert, and then Update followed by Upgrade a few times to get current. Afterwards, let the forum know if that solved the issue, please.
Re: CW ID Does not give full repeater call sign
Updated to Pi-Star:4.1.0-RC3 / Dashboard:20190905
Still has the same problem.
Does the CWid work properly on your Pi-Star system?
If it does work as it should on your system then the problem could be with my hardware.
I will wait for your response before troubleshooting any further.

Re: CW ID Does not give full repeater call sign
RC6 is current.
Keep going with the update / upgrade process until you reach Release Candidate 6. and try agn.

Works fine on all 5 of my pi star hotspots.

Re: CW ID Does not give full repeater call sign
Using the OpenGD77 as a hotspot I am unable to get consistent CW ID with either the Zero or the 3A. Both are at RC6.
This is a setup that would really benefit from ID. I've presumed the ID time would be consistent whether I'm transmitting or not but now wonder if it's only when it sees xmit activity. e.g. SW ID time = 10 would xmit every 10 minutes IF active, not so in idle listening mode.

Re: CW ID Does not give full repeater call sign
Recent updates of GD77 firmware now fully support the CWID.
