Ok be gentle with me, as I am new to this so sorry if this is a daft question.
I am using pi-star on an RPI3B via a ZumSpot USB dongle. My radio is a Yaesu FTM-3200DE, I have all of the cross modes enabled (eg. YSF2P25, YSF2DMR and YSF2NXDN) and I can connect reliably to the startup host that is configured in the config for YSF. If I establish a Wires-X connection to say YSF14073 it connects ok, but I am trying to change rooms/reflectors via the direct entry to say YSF00002 to work DMR cross mode I end up getting connected to a reflector and cant hear any DMR activity (set to TG91). I am not sure if I am even supposed to use Wires-X to connect although I have got wires-x passthrough enabled (but dont really know what it does!!)
I realise I am probably getting the YSF vs Rooms vs Reflector functionality confused so wondered if anyone can offer me any tips or guidance so I cant the most out of this wonderful software.
