Is a detailed manual available?

Post by OK1PT »

Hi there,
I'm new in this community, so please excuse me if I'm asking FAQs or otherwise stupid questions..., So, let's start with one which may solve many others :-).
Is there a detailed Pi-Star manual available ? I mean a manual in a level of Linux man pages, especially for Pi-Star binaries, including the section 5, i.e. structure of configuration files (in /etc) - the items mostly editable in the Expert menu. Just a stupid example: In TimeServer, I found the ambe files saying "quarter past" etc., but my hotspot is announcing "xx hours 15 minutes AM/PM". I know that in the settings is a "Format" item, but I didn't find its description and I was unable to guess a value which would switch the announcements to the other format.
Normally I'm looking into the source code, it's always the best manual :-). But I didn't find it for Pi-Star as well. So I believe it's a closed-source distribution. Am I right ?
With regards & 73,
Pavel
