Call/TX Hang

Hi.

Just wanted to know what the ideal settings for Call and Tx Hang times are for DMR?

Currently, whist monitoring (with 15 or so Static talkgroups in my list), i feel that there is not enough time to react to a call after the caller lets go of their PTT before a call from a different static group breaks the hold...sometimes immediately. Can become pretty frustrating sometimes. I'm assuming that these adjustable settings are in place to smooth this out?

If anyone can explain in layman's terms how these work, and what the ideal kind of numbers to throw in there, it would be appreciated.
