Hi,
I purchased a hotspot for my brother with Pi-Star preloaded on it. We were able to get the radio to establish a connection with the hotspot with no issues. When we go into dashboard everything that needs to be in the green is in the green. When he keys up the radio everything functions like it should. But no TG’s come back for him to hear.
As we check the live logs it shows,
login to the master has failed, retrying network....
Closed DMR network
Opening DMR network
It says this error over and over again. And yes his hotspot shows connected to his home WiFi.
We tried a factory reset to see if that changes anything and all we get is the same issue. I have the same exact hotspot running the same version/firmware and I have no issues at all.
I did notice when we enabled DMR, the DMR configuration section doesn’t have a lot of the options when I compare it to my pi-star’s DMR configuration. He only has DMR master, BrandMeister Network, DMR Colour Code, DMR EmbeddededLCOnly, DMR DumpTAData. I know there is a password requirement for hotspots, we can’t enter that under the configuration page since that option is not there. We did enter it under expert and it doesn’t change anything either.
Am I missing some other options? I don’t remember having this many issues when I set mine up. Is the hotspot somehow bad and needs to be exchanged? Please help.
Thanks

Re: login to the master has failed, retrying network
I don’t think the password is the issue. We have entered in the password on the expert page of the pi-Star. Then we saved changed and did a power down reset and the same issue keeps happening. Login to the master server has failed.KE7FNS wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 10:51 pm https://news.brandmeister.network/
