Looks good to me, thanks very much!
RESOLVED - RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
One thing that may warrant a patch. I've been switching back and forth between RadioID and QRZ. The link for RadioID is secure (https), but the link for the QRZ isn't (http; however, when I click the link to visit QRZ, their website redirects to https).
Also, in General Configuration, I have URL set to Automatic. Whether I am using RadioID or QRZ, the link is to QRZ, and it's an insecure link (http).

While I dont think that this is essential, I do agree with the concept, so to that end...KE0FHS wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 6:57 pm One thing that may warrant a patch. Keep in mind the URL on the config page wont change (to https) until you apply the config.

Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
Thanks!
I remain confused about one thing. When RadioID is the active link, on the Configuration page in the General Configuration section's URL field, with Auto selected, the URL is still the QRZ one.
I had always thought that the URL in that field dictated what site other users would be taken to when they click my callsign, but it seems that was an incorrect presumption. So what is that URL in the General Configuration section for?

Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
It can be changed on the Configuration->Expert->CSS Tool page, takes either 'QRZ' or 'RadioID' as the exact content of the field.
If you have changed the CSS values you should write them down before activating default values and then reenter them.

Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
The Auto option just populates the URL with a sensible thing - in this case it happens to be a link to you on QRZ, I could make it match the choice of lookup tool, but I don't really see the need, and when I wrote the code, QRZ made the most sense, not least because RadioID didn't exist.
Ahh yes now your question makes some more sense - so this URL field is presented to the network(s) that you connect to, remember that the underpinning software was designed for repeaters, so the repeater group might list the repeater group's web page for example. Now I could have used this link to tell the world about me, hotspots, Pi-Star etc, but I opted to tell the world about you instead - thats why in auto mode it links back to your own QRZ page, this seemed like the nicest thing to do.
So for a quick example of what this does, and where: https://brandmeister.network/?page=repe ... =235315001 This is a link to my hotspot information, as seen by BrandMeister, as you can see it contains a website link, back to the information that the Hotspot tells the network.

Re: RadioID.net vs. QRZ.com
I was able to change RADIOID to QRZ on my two SIMPLEX hotspots.
However this option is NOT available on my DUPLEX hotspot. The LOOKUP field is missing.
I am using a PI3B+ with Pistar version 4.1.3 and dashboard build 20210128
Any clues on how to get the LOOKUP field? I did a REBOOT but that did not help either.
