Need a reset

Post by 2E0WHN »

So I have moved to Scotland and now my call is 2M0WHN. This is now a sort of problem.

Due to me not using my Pi star, I have not only forgotten the password and login for my Pi, but it also contains my old call. Now my own call is no problem. What is the problem is that I have tried all combinations of passwords and nothing is working. Google has saved P/W but they are not working as such. So where do I go? I remember changing the details but now can not get into Admin or the dashboard to change anything.

So can this be done with the SD card in the computer via a file or will I have to redo it all? (Which would be a problem as I have the OLED screen scrolling so far).

So ideas or help please.

First up. As Pistar is the software you run on the pi. Simply reburn a new image to the SD card and config as required. New paasword, new callsign etc.

2nd if you have not already, notify radioid.net of your call change and everything should work out just fine.
The new callsign will get associated with ur current ID. and will get pushed to all other pistar installs via the nightly automagical updates.
