Hi, I have a new wifi router at home and cannot connect to pi-star dashboard. When I have my raspberry pi connected to my laptop, the screen on the pi shows "start up" and thats it .....no connection.
Not being very good with any of this, I am at a loss as to what to do next.
Any help anyone can give would be grately appreciated.
Cheers, Pete.
NO WIFI CONNECTION
Re: NO WIFI CONNECTION
The description is not totally clear...
"...connected to my laptop"? How is this connection being made? R-Pi as WiFi ACCESS POINT (not client); CAT-5 networking cable?
If you have a new router, it likely has different SSID and WAP password -- how did you update the R-Pi for the new router node?
Last case -- if "start-up" is referring to the default OS background when booting, you may have corrupted the boot partition -- and will need to configure a fresh Pi-Star install (probably onto a new SD card in case the old one has significant failure points).
