I have my 9700 running in Access Point mode, using a Pi.
I noticed these quirks and wonder if anyone can help:
1. Voice peaks from some stations seem to cut out (limit or clip??) while listening with my D74. Are there level, or other adjustments in the Pi or IC-9700 that I can try? (I did not have this issue when running the Pi with it's internal 20 mW transceiver)
2. I turned on the 9700 and Pi, went for my usual walk with my D-74 handheld. After about one hour, I could not hear anyone and trying "INFO" to ping my system did return the usual "Linked to REF030 CHARLIE" response. I had to reset the Pi. (I did not have this issue when running the Pi with it's internal 20 mW transceiver)
Thanks & 73
Jay
