Hi,
Is there a way to send commands to DMRgateway using command line ?
somethink like "sudo pistar-link unlink" for the dmrgateway
My goal is to change/disconnect XLX Master Module used by DMRgateway (same as sending "64000" private call by RF)
thanks, Julien
dmrgateway commands by command line
Re: dmrgateway commands by command line
Most of the -link commands, to my knowledge, rely upon an API provided by the server; they don't operate locally. Since DMR seems to support multiple servers with (I presume) incompatible APIs, DMR appears to be the mode that does not provide /any/ -link command capability (the BrandMeister servers support an API, available on the Pi-Star admin page, but even that only supports adding/removing STATIC talkgroups -- not really an "unlink" feature).

Call Tg4000 to unlink a BM Tg.

XLX don't afaik, have an API solution to 'talk' to their backend.
So no. Theres not really a way to do this non RF.

Re: dmrgateway commands by command line
Such feature would be quite useful.
Sometimes on simplex repeaters, as users don't allow for some pause before they PTT, it's impossible to unlink and change module. and as the admin console does not allow any action on the dmrgateway either, the only way to disconnect is to reboot pistar.
User education remains a goal ...
