To my knowledge, there is NO "Android Pi-Star" software.

You can use the phone as a Wi-Fi access point if you configure Pi-Star (running on one of the known platforms) with the access point SSID/WPA information. Ideally, the phone /browser/ should then also allow you to connect to the Pi-Star hardware's web server to access the dashboard.

The Raspberry-Pi is the only supported hardware with a fairly recent version of RaspOS/Debian (and even that is nearing end-of support). The NanoPi/Odroid/Orange-Pi are running really old versions of RaspOS/Debian.

Yes my mistake thank you it was that I saw on YouTube a guy using HIS version of PiStar on his phone then deleted it from the net so thought I'll have a go at installing PiStar but failed miserably.

Years ago I was very active mobile on TAG2350 etc, using a Hotspot and Mobile Wifi dongle but can't remember what program I used to achieve it.

Thanks a lot.
