You're gonna have to be more specific: why did you change routers? new equipment? new ISP? moved from private to public? changed SSID and/or password? Are there any other routers you can try?

To try to get a little more information.

Have you tried to go to Pi-star.uk home and go into pi star tools?
Go to wi-fi builder then from there put in your wi-fi information, and submit, then it gives you a file for your computer, at that point you put it on your SD card for your pi-star. Then it should look for your wi-fi. once it looks for your wi-fi, you should be able to see an I.P. address on the screen of your hotspot. put that Ip address directly into your browser, and log into your pi-star.

Hope that helps.

Re: address unknown ... similar problem for me

Similar probelm:
  • Changed router
  • Found ZumSpot
  • Password is refused
Yes, I changed it from "raspberry" to something else a few years ago but I must have saved it wrong as it keeps on coming up as "Enter the network security key".

Is there a way to reset the password without having to burn a new SD card?

Thats sounds more like its asking for ur wifi password, than a pistar password.

Sent via smoke signals using my SM-G935F

That's what I thought but in this case it's happening when I try to connect the the ZumSpot so that I can change the configuration.

In other words, I start the ZumSpot, look for it on the Wi-Fi list, select it ... it tries to connect to the ZumSpot, then after a less than a minute, it asks for the password that per my files is the right one (same as for my other ZumSpot). However, it fails then gives me that message,

All of this because I changed routers as my old one (8 years old) was having issues every day even after resets (locks out all WiFi and I can't evenb access the admin page)
