My truck's canopy came with an outlet with two USB-A ports. I'd like to set up what I think is likely two pre-programmed hotspots as my Linux skills are nascent--so the prospect of doing an XLX/DMR Gateway installation seems a bit daunting--and I'd like to use BM and another non-BM network. I could use one machine and do the SD card changes, but I'd rather not.
If I did go down the path of two hotspots, how far apart should the a) antennas be (I'm guessing half-wavelength of 70cm so around 1'-2') and b) frequencies (for example, is 50 kHz enough)?
For those who've done a vehicular install, do you have it shut off with ignition?
Setting up vehicle hotspot(s) for two DMR networks
Re: Setting up vehicle hotspot(s) for two DMR networks
Why not just use the rewrite rules and set 1 hotspot to do both networks.
