MMDVM Duplex Hotspot: Two modes?

Post by DO7OO »

Hallo.

My MMDVM HS's running UFB. I'm interested in a MMDVM Duplex Hotspot.

Q: Is it possible to use C4FM on TS1/Modem 1 and DMR on TS2/Modem 2 of a MMDVM Duplex Hotspot?

Tnx fer nfo.

DMR has 2 timeslots, but Fusion doesn't because it is 100% duty cycle on transmit. I can't see how you can mix them, but of course you can use the 2 DMR timeslots for different TGs.

Then use your current hotspot for Fusion.

Not if you want to tx ysf. But with a DMR radio using dmr2ysf and rewrites in dmrgateway to route the slots acordingly.
It could be possible to run one slot to a ysf reflector and the other to a usual dmr tg.

Sent via smoke signals using my SM-G935F
