Hi all,
The new ID RP4010V Icom repeater module does not needs a separate controler to connect to the various D-star networks.
Connecting the previous ID RP4000V was no problem , but with the new ID RP4010V, with build in control interface, it seems not to work.
Does anyone has an idea how to connect this Icom ID RP4010v repeater to a raspi with pi-star on it ?

I think ircDDBGateway didn't work. Does it work with pi-star?

Uhm... "pi-star" is just a bundling of otherwise separately managed software. It USES ircDDBGateway for traffic routing and MMDVMHost (unless you configure the system for DStarRepeater module instead -- which I think has much fewer capabilities) .

We have a issue with the configuration of the ID RP4010V. I followes (mostly) the information from Edgar F5FDR in the Setup. However, there are some other circumstances:
The pi-Star is on eth0 connected to a 44.149. ... hamnet network (auto-configured via DHCP) and the repeater is connectet to eth1 172.16.0.1 (repeater) 172.16.0.20 (pi-star).
I have the issue, that sending voice stream packets to the 44.149. xxx is not working.
After restarting the ID-RP4010 the first call goes out to the reflector and is receibved, the second call gets lost with 96% loss.
the routing table looks like this:

I have recently connected my pi-star to the new Icom ID RP4010V upgraded from an older Icom stack, all appears to be working and connecting to the default reflector I have programmed at start-up. However when I try to unlink or l link reflectors using the UR in my radios it doesn't work. This worked fine on the older Icom stack but not on the new repeater. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue.
