I'm coming back to you because I have a problem in DSTAR mode with my different MMDVM-based modems.
I use the latest HS_HAT firmware, version v1.6.1 and I have micro-cuts during my retransmission, which causes more or less frequent beeps among my correspondents.
Sometimes there are even packet losses, this generates R2D2.
I had also this problem with previous versions of the software.
Some of my HotSpots are connected by WiFi, others by Ethernet cable. The problem does not come from Wifi since everyone is affected by this problem.
I have correspondents who have the same problem and they use the same configuration. It makes exchanges unpleasant.
Do you know if this is a known issue? Or should I check specific settings? And which ones?
Another possibility could be to replace this HS_HAT software, but I don't know what or how to do it.
Could you also help me with this if necessary?
I noticed that my repeater (an old configuration under pi-star) does not have this problem.
This one is not under HS_HAT but under MMDVM:20180723 (this is what is written in the “radio info” field).
