YSF Reflector Schedule

I'm trying to setup a schedule for my gateway to connect to a handful of reflectors at different times on different days (for various nets and a default network). I've read various posts and make several attempts in cron with no success. I'm not sure if it's the wrong entries that are incorrect or are there other settings in YSF GW I may need to consider?

are you able to do this from a shell/terminal?

I'm new to doing this but am willing to try anything to get it to work.

from the terminal, can you connect to the reflector from a terminal?

I can change the reflector through usual routes including via remote access.
What I'm trying to do, is setup a schedule for pi-star to automatically change reflectors based on day and time.
