I've configured my HotSpot with Pi-Star version 4.2.1_17 (the latest as of this post) to use D-Star only. It's running on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ with a Nextion display; pretty sweet setup. I have my Icom IC-705 set to Digital Voice (DV) so that I can receive the D-Star transmission from the Pi-Star HotSpot. My HotSpot is connected to WiFi at 200.0 MBit/sec. Interestingly though, the audio is atrocious coming from my IC-705. I can make out the conversation, a little, between it breaking up and being garbled. I must have an incorrect setting somewhere. If anyone has, or had this issue and corrected it, what did you do? If this is digital audio over ham radio, it's awful.
