System cron

Is system cron still supported on Pi-Star or has it been done away with? Reason I am asking is I have 2 hotspots in my work vehicle that are never on overnight and don't do the nightly updates. In the past,(using that other system) I would just write a command in system cron to do an update at 0700 daily and never think twice about my hotspots falling behind. Can't do that anymore and all my commands are no longer. If Pi-star still supports this I will switch back.
