Hi there
Is there a way of removing the display of F temperature units, both on the PI-Star dashboard & on the MMVDM display?
Temperature Units
Re: Temperature Units
Kinda, but not really. The screen would be easiest to modify... either load in another screen image that doesn't include temp data. Or create / edit a screen image specific to what you want using the nextion editor.
Dashboard, not so easy. You can make edits, but the overnights will revert it back to standard.

Re: Temperature Units
That's a shame, was hoping for an easy fix / edit a config or something. It would be nice to see this as a choice sometime in the future (honestly, F is meaningless to me).
Re: Temperature Units
Could be ur prob. using a screen image from a us provider. Search out one from an EU source and you should see the reading in C.
Rob Van Reehans nextion pages on github might workout for you. His facebook 'nextion ham radio screens' group might be worth a look also.
A little confused to what ur saying re: the dashboard though, as my pistar 4.1.** admin pages displays both C° and F° ??

Re: Temperature Units
The dashboard does display both F and C - I'd like to have an option to remove the F altogether as for me this is spurious information.
Re: Temperature Units
Yeah can understand that but then those in imperial land will be asking why °F isn't included.

Re: Temperature Units
I'm asking for a configurable choice here. Those measuring in the past tense could still see F, the rest of us would see C - some kind of radio button somewhere?

Re: Temperature Units
I'm in imperial land but I generally use Celsius on a daily basis. Lots of mixed units are good for the soul.
Bring back £ s and d!

I think I should have asked for Kelvin - forwards to SI
