Brightness Settings

Post by Kd9hae »

Is there a way to disable the brightness setting for a nextion display? I had added buttons to the main screen to adjust the brightness, but when the screen changes I will go back the settings in Pi-Star. Any ideas?

Check the Nexion System Variables list, may just be difference between using 'dim' or 'dims'.

IF you have modified Pi-Star to accept those buttons to execute the brightness function, think they are not 'permanent stored' in the Pi-Star OS, which is a adapted/dedicated version of the original Raspberry Pi OS.
So, if you want to expand your MMDVMHost with this functions, think you have to compile your own MMDVMHost system.
TIP: you can describe your demands, preferable with the code you have used, on the Feature Request in this forum (top of the Home Page) ....
