What image is best for Zero Wireless?

Post by vk2hez »

Is the RPi image suitable for both the RPi 3 and the Zero Wireless, or is there a specific version for the Zero?

Appreciate the assist.

The “RPI_V3.4.16....” image is the only one that will run on the Pi Zero and Zero W. It runs on all versions of authentic Pi boards except the Pi3B+.If you have the latter board there’s a beta version of Pi-Star that apparently works fine on it. Find it at http://www.pistar.uk/beta/. If you have the older Pi3B (not the 3BPlus), then the “RPI_V3.4.16...” image is the one for it.
