Firmware update now no RX

Post by K9JTV »

Last night I updated the firmware on my JumboSpot to V1.3.3. After it re-booted, it stopped receiving. I have tried re-flashing the firmware, checked all of my settings, but still no RX. I get the same IP as before the flash and can access the dashboard with no issues. I left it unplugged overnight and powered it up again this morning with the same results. Any suggestions? I am using YSF, and tried changing to YSF2DMR, but have the same results.

Also, the MMDVM does transmit as I have heard traffic from a reflector on both my handheld and mobile. Checked the frequencies in the configuration and they are correct.

I had the same problem with D-Star. After flashing to V1.3.3 the Jumbospot stopped receiving - TX was still ok. Out of the box the hotspot's RX and TX frequencies were spot on.

The solution was to add an offset to RX. In my case it was -1060. Try incremental changes by 100-150 at a time in both directions.

Yeah, that fixed mine also, I just hadn't got back here to post. But mine took an offset of -10200. Plus I now have to move my JumboSpot away from my radios. Had to get it about 20' away for it to work properly. It's rocking again. (Only use YSF here)
