I need to have D-Star use a different callsign then the rest of the system.
I go to expert and change the callsigns in ircddbgateway and it leaves the rest of the systems alone.
But if I go to expert and change the callsigns under DStarRepeater it changes all of the system to match.
Can anyone explains this?

Edit - I'm running Pi-Star 4.0 up to date
Expert DStarRepeater
Re: Expert DStarRepeater
The dash reads some of the config from the old config files - since if you go back far enough - my dashboard code pre-dates MMDVMhost
If you ONLY edit by expert and dont use the config page - then the config is sane, but I dont expect repeaters or users to ever not use the same callsign.

Re: Expert DStarRepeater
The changes in expert mode use to not change all of the node.
Now changing them in expert changes them.
I really need it to be able to be different like it use to let me do it via version 3 did.
Thanks

Re: Expert DStarRepeater
The why has nothing to do with Pi-Star at all so irrelevant.

Re: Expert DStarRepeater
You can still install the v3.4.17 instead. Why use a release candidate if you're not willing to provide useful feedback? That's the entire purpose of rcX.
Re: Expert DStarRepeater
The need to have D-Star on a different callsign doesn't have anything to do with Pi-Star.
We need D-Star on a different callsign for reasons unrelated to how Pi-Star works.
The Repeater is coordinated under a callsign that is different from the clubs D-Star Callsign.
So not related to Pi-Star but I gave feedback that we can't setup the difference under expert page anymore.
So How is that not giving feedback???
How is that related to Pi-Star at all???
The repeater also has DMR and Fusion on it that are linked to the repeater callsign.
Thanks

I'll leave you with Andy's previous answer.
Re: Expert DStarRepeater
The dashboard on v3 and v4 is exactly the same, if it worked on v3 it should do on v4.KC2CBD wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 5:14 am The need to have D-Star on a different callsign doesn't have anything to do with Pi-Star.

Re: Expert DStarRepeater
I let the normal config do the setup then I edit the dstar configs in expert and it changes all the callsigns for everything to what I edit in the expert mode.
It didn't do that in v3 but it is now in v4.
I really would like to use v4 and edit the callsigns for what we need.
I don't know what is going on but it doesn't want to let me set different callsigns.
Thanks
