Power cycle the PI and all is well.. Anyone else seeing this ?
cpu temp
Re: cpu temp
A little late to the table, what model of PI are you using?
What case do you have on the PI?
What temperature are you seeing?

Re: cpu temp
I am seeing a similar increase in temp. Running Zum Spot with Pi0 and nextion display. RC03 was running about 110F RC04 running about 119F.
Re: cpu temp
I use these soldered to the GPIO pins: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0792BW2VH/
Re: cpu temp
Which pins do you use? From a diagram I found (https://pinout.xyz/#), it looks like 4 (5V) and 6 (GND). Sound right?w7efs wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:45 am I use these soldered to the GPIO pins: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0792BW2VH/

Re: cpu temp
I use the 3.3V in the cooler summer locations, 5V where it gets hotter. As can be seen from the attached pinout, there are a couple choices for each, and other addons like OLED and any particular case, modem and site placement determine the choices made here.
Of course one needs to ventilate the case somehow to allow for both ingress and egress of the air exchange. The hardware included with the fans allows easy mounting on most cases.
Re: cpu temp
Sorry been on vacation. Using a pi3b. Before I left on vacation I removed case and allowed it to just hang ... This seems to moderated most of the temp issues but a course here in northern ca someone flicked the summer switch lol...
Using a STM32 board from repeaterbuilders.com and there case..The case would be fine in a air conditioned building but my repeater is on a mt top in a work box with batteries in another with the whole thing solar powered.... So no air conditioning but I do have active air flow through boxes.
The STM32 controller is the best board Ive used so far, works great...

Re: cpu temp
The dashboard is the largest CPU hog, PS5 will resolve that, but it's a ways out there just yet.
