GPS to Update Pi-Star Location

Has anyone hooked a GPS to their Pi-Star hotspot to update it's location on the fly? I have a ZumSpot board on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ that I have in my Jeep. I travel all over the country and it would be neat if it would update it's Lat/Lon on its own.

Following as well. I have a GPS receiver in my AnyTone D878 that can pass location info to the hotspot, however the receiver is very poor when it comes to working from inside the car, not necessarily placed near the front window. That's why I would welcome a support for connecting an additional decent GPS receiver with a window antenna to my hotspot. 73!
