Hotspot transmitting to me fine but not receiving

Post by kb0nhx » Sun Jan 13, 2019 10:19 pm

I am using a Raspberry Pi3 with an STM-32dvm connected to a Motorola CDM-1250 UHF mobile radio art to 1-Watt for this hotspot I’m building.

I set the receive audio by maxing our the ingle turn pot, minimizing the multi turn pot and turning it until the clip light goes out. When I transmit on my simplex channel, the DMR and COS lights illuminate. However, my Pi-Star dashboard never shows any indication that it is receiving.

I can hear network traffic on the DMR talkgroup just fine, but cannot transmit out to the network from my HT.

Looking for anyone that may have an idea why this is not working properly. I set one of these up for our mmdvm repeater and had no problems, so I may be missing something specific to hotspot operation. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Controller mode set to simplex node if you are using a single radio?

Try RX Invert in the modem settings (expert, mmdvmhost)?
