I recently bought a DVMega Cast IP radio to use with Fusion/DMR/Dstar, and it was working well with the default firmware (up to 1.24 for the main board and I think maybe 1.18 for the display).
However, in the 1.25 main board update, they made a change to use the volume button to power the device on instead of the bottom left of the touch pad. Since then, after every update I try, and also after trying a few things the Dvmega team suggested, like flashing the box with the factory image from March 9, the display is black, and I can't select any channels or models except via the Yaesu mic. Has anyone else run into this problem, and found a work-around? Since it's a new device, I don't have the old firmware to go back to.

Re: dvmega cast firmware updates from pi-star
I think you'll need to contact combitronics.
Although they use a release of pistar we're not responsible for, nor do we roll out their updates.

See the firmware tab on this page: http://www.combitronics.nl/index.php?ro ... uct_id=110
It has both the firmware and the special version of Pi-Star.

Re: dvmega cast firmware updates from pi-star
I already tried flashing the factory version of the SD card image from March 9. Still, the display is black. Looks like the device is not recognizing the volume control button. Any way to turn on the Nextion from Linux?
