Update. My 7250 has been at Yaesu for 5 weeks. I got a call tonight from the technician who said there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and the are shipping it back.
I will sell it. So far in the last two years, my FTM-400XDR has gone back for new finals, My FTM-100DR has gone back for some strange issues when running as a portable HRI node (which still happen). My FT-3DR has gone back for DTMF problems (which it still has btw).
The only Yaesu rigs I have that HAVEN'T gone back for service are my ancient FT-470, FT-530, and my rock solid FT-1500M.
Think I'm done. Not buying another Yaesu.
