Would it be possible to have a dmr gateway config with different DMR masters on each timeslot. That way I could effectively have a Brandmeister login and a DMR-MARC login, without needing to dial up a reflector and use TG8?

You can already do this type of setup in DMRGateway. I have a config for my duplex hotspot where I put XLX on TS1 and BM on TS2. See my blog post on how to do this and you can adapt for your needs.
