VHF DVAP

Hello Folks,
I am using the VHF DVAP with the Pi-Star version 4.1 RC3 and all works well. Lately I have been waking up to a DVAP locked in transmit mode with the red light lit. I have to do a reboot and restart and it clears up for a while and comes back. I had this issue with the Western DSTAR image also. Does anyone know if there is a fix to prevent the VHF DVAP from locking up? The UHF one does not do it at all.

Bill I also have a 2m DVAP and it is hooked up to a Pi running 4.1 rc 3. How long does it take to lock up and what reflector do you leave it on?
Does it lock during the day too?
I can try mine overnight and see what happens.

Seems to me the best solution, one that is in sync with Part 97 regulations, would be to NOT leave an unattended hotspot linked to reflector. Why not just link to the reflector when you are using the hotspot, and unlink it when you're finished.

Well the DVAP locks up in transmit on RF, it does not affect the reflector at all...

Download DVAP updater from
http://www.dvapdongle.com.
Download and unzip DvapUpdater105.exe onto your desktop. Double
click on the program to run. Click on "Read DVAP Info" to see
your current firmware version and serial number.
If the firware version is 1.05 or below, you need firmware 1.07 to get rid of the lockups.
