A feature of the SharkRF OpenSPOT is autocal, which gives the user a simple way to correct BER. Essentially you connect to auto cal, key the mic until the progress bar finishes and the device automatically adjusts the offset, giving a good match between hotspot and radio. I wonder if such a feature would be possible with Pi-Star? It would save the trial and error required when setting up a Pi Hat device, such as the Jumbospot

I have a plan to better support some of the board by providing some better (as in better than 0.00) starting points based on the chosen modem, but I suspect that this will be as good as it gets for a while at least.
