DV Signal priority

We have an analog Kenwood FM repeater with an RB_STM32_DVM system.
If the repeater is receiving a QSO that is maintained in a reflector (i.e. XLX D-Star),
and suddenly someone transmits in FM, it happens that the reception of the reflector is cut off immediately to give priority to the FM signal.
How to avoid this?
or
How to prevent this from happening while a digital signal is being received by the system?
Thanks
