Cannot hear pi-star and it cannot hear me

This is one that plagued me for a day. I could see activity via the net but could not copy it and it would not hear me. Since I had tried just about everything to no avail I decided to change the hotspot's frequency to the 433 Mhz range. All of a sudden it worked. I had a spare rubber duck for 440 and swapped it out and went back to the original frequency because I did not want to reprogram the DMR codeplug! Well, it worked at the original frequency. Don't assume that the antenna is good, even though it shipped with the device. I just want to save you all the fun (?) that I had troubleshooting the issue. 73
