WiFi Interface is down

Good Evening. I am having an issue with 3.4.11.
I have tried my WiFi router and iphone. Neither seem to connect. I was using the same board with Raspbian as was able to connect to my WiFi. Any suggestions? I have rebooted my pi-star with no resolution.

If you haven't already, you might try rebooting your WiFi router too.

rebooted router. did not resolve issue.
in wpa_supplicant.conf
changed country=to my home country
changed the following from manual to dhcp:
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
I am able to connect to pi-star thru
iface wlan0_ap inet static
any other suggestions or comments on how to fix this would be great.

Hello ,
Can you describe how were you able to resolve the issue as I have the same predicament of interface down. rebooted my router and pistar non resolve the issue.
