Automatic ID? How to stop

I have noticed that my pi-star will sometimes key itself up with my call slash INFO on D-star. Is there a way to stop it from keying itself up autonomously?

Turn off time announcements.
In the dstar panel of the configuration page.

I looked for that and could not find it. I am running the most current version of PI-STAR on a RPi Zero W.
I could not find a place for time announcements. Can you perhaps clue me in, perhaps a screen-shot would help.

Go to the configuration page.
../admin/configure.php

Scroll down to the DSTAR configuration panel.

it's a check button.
Then, Apply changes.

I did find that setting and it was already off. Still, it seems that every morning at 0328 local time, the pi-star sends out W8DU/INFO on the D-star channel, without any operator intervention. Any other ideas as to how to prevent this?

p.s. the pi-star also does the same thing upon bootup

Ok that always happens when ircddbgateway boots. it sends it status update... not linked or linked to ??????
The overnight maintenance scripts restart services when they finish their process in the AM. so its ircddbgateway sending it staus on restart at 3.28 when the scripts have done their thing and restart services. That'll be normal and its nothing to be concerned abt.

The only way to prevent it would be to turn off status updates in ircddbgateway, but then you'll get no status at all even when you youself initialise a link.

Got it. Thank you for that explanation and I now understand. I'll leave it alone.
