HI,
is there a way of me getting the Hot-Spot to send me a SMS message on the radio or announce the IP ?

Hover the word "Hostname" on the top of the admin page and you will see the system IP address.
As for voice announce - that isn't currently possible in MMDVMHost.

Thanks for the reply, i managed to find the Ip when i scanned the network for it i just thought there may have been a way to get it to announce to the radio

Hello,
best wishes foe 2021.
If you put a small monitor whith hdmi interface or vga and vga-hdmi-adapter at the RAspberrty PI, the WLAN IP will be shown on the monitor afzer end of booting.
If you are using pistar with mmdvm hat and you connect an oled screen or somthing else to the mmdvm hat, the wlan IP address will be shown during start of mmdvm software.
