The Nextion screen I have has a battery slot on it. I presume it's to power the RTC on the Nextion. If I don't put in a battery for the screen in a Pi/MMDVM/Nextion combo, will it make a difference? Pi-Star and the screen seems to operate fine without the battery. I'm just making sure it won't affect any features. Thanks!

Ah, didn't know there were HMIs that used RTCs. Thank you! Guess it won't hurt to slap a battery in it.
