I had the proposal placed as a new feature requst and it seems to have no answers nor comments so, having a calmy thought on it I really think it's a poblem needing to be fixed.

When Pi-Star is running on SIMPLEX configuration, TS1 radio button in BM Manager section shouldn't show (be active) as it makes users think the can deal with TWO TSs.

I mean THIS ONE:


Yes, I know it has been this way "since sun rises in the morning", anyway... It can be fixed, isn't it ??

I agree with you, Rafa. If TS1 can be selected, it can drive some unexperienced/new users to malfunction of their hotspots. It should not be complicated to disable this selection when SIMPLEX mode is selected.

Note that you are interacting with BrandMeister here and NOT your hotspot. Regardless of which TS you select, BM reports back that it is adding the specified TG to "Slot 0". And for the moment, your simplex hotspot continues to receive TS1 and TS2 packets irrespective of the setting(s) AT BrandMeister.
