DUPLEX to allow faster disconnects?

Post by W6CJ »

Is it possible to configure my ZUM RPI Nextion 2.4 to duplex, so that I can unlink or link quickly, even though one of those long-winded QSOs with quick-keying is going on (my hotspot is transmitting) at the time?
And, if this (duplex or half-duplex) is possible, how much frequency separation between RX and TX is necessary?

Thanks & 73

While that is the minimum channel spacing, a duplex hat may be victim of adjacent channel interference (we've recently had a thread where a user had a 25kHz Rx/Tx spacing and was not able to reach the unit; when they followed my suggestion to use a much wider spacing it began functioning for them).
