When running two modes such as DSTAR and C4FM at the same time, It would be nice to be able to lock it
in one mode or the other from the dashboard if desired and then resume scan when desired.

There is an abilty in Mmdvmhost to lock the mode from the command line. ie lock to YSF for the next 20mins, but currently yes. Theres no way to do so on the dashboard.
