Nextion status code for SMS/DATA/GPS

Can a status code be added when receiving SMS/DATA/GPS transmissions for use in Nextion layout?

Thanks for the answer.
It's not my intention to display the data (contents) on the Nextion, but only to have a status code when it occurs.
At the moment there is nothing to display so the Nextion 'hangs' until hangtime-timeout or another valid status-code occurs, while the pi-star dashboard displays the 'SMS' occurence.
Anyway, i'll submit a pull request and see if it's possible at all.
For the moment i wrote a small python script that reads the log and makes a beeper sound through GPIO when a data header is received.
