I have 7 mmdvm dual pio boards that will not upgrade to https://github.com/juribeparada/MMDVM_H ... tag/v1.5.2
All are running Pi-Star:4.1.3 / Dashboard: 20201205, half of the hotspots are running on Pi 3b and Pi 4's with same issue. All have been updated and upgraded to the latest versions.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but the error seen in SSH and the results as follows: "Failed to init device" I even did it twice on all 7 hotspots with the same errror, the second time checking that the folder was empty prior to downloading the file again. I've double checked that it is the correct modem and it is a mmdvm dual hat 14.7456mhz. Any ideas ??

Do you have the dual HAT's BOOT1 jumper bridged with solder? It being open is often the cause of this error.

They all have previously had modem firmware upgrades done 2 times prior without issues....so not sure if that is the problem, but I will research it, Thanks for the help!

Also noticed you are using the -custom flash script, for me this works with the normal one without -custom

so run

sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash hs_dual_hat

assuming that you have 14.7456MHz TCXOs
