DVMega not responding

Post by pd5r »

Hi all,

I noticed that my DVMega, fitted on a Bluestack, has trouble receiving my radio. Before it just worked fine in this configuration.
When the DVMega sends a signal it works fine and my radio receives it ok. As soon as I TX my radio the DVMega does nothing.
It seems that the signal might be to high? As soon as I TX my radio the red light on the DVMega starts to flash rapidly.

Have set my FTM-100 to low power settings (5 watt is minimum). When I use my FT1D on lowest power setting all is ok.

Any ideas??

5W is likely overloading the DV-Mega (recall -- IT transmits and less than half a watt).

Try "walking away" from the hotspot to the limit where you can still hear traffic from it, then try transmitting and seeing if it gets through.
