The problem with this, is that where the ID is resolved to a callsign, the ID is not present in the logs. So to find the ID I would have to have the dashboard resolve it, I dont do that because already the dashboard is a CPU hog (this will be a memory once I finish the new dash).

When we eventually get my much belated new dashboard, Callsign/ID/Name etc will all just be in there from the start, this will improve many things, not least of all the CPU usage too.

Anyways - since this is clearly something we need to give you the choice on - I'll get on to making that happen :)

It is now possible to make the change from the dashboard; http://pi-star.local/admin/expert/edit_dashboard.php or http://pi-star/admin/expert/edit_dashboard.php

css_qrz.png

**Note - be warned that the field for setting the lookup tools is sensitive, it will ONLY take exactly "QRZ" or exactly "RadioID", anything else in there and it will just revert to using RadioID.

**Note 2 - If you don't have the fields showing, first make sure you are running the latest dashboard build (this feature arrived in 20210127), so long as you have that or newer thats great, if you have set CSS settings already, do the reset at the bottom of the page (after making a note of your current settings) and the new options will appear for you.

Thank you Andy. This is a very nice option. I tried it and it works great.

One slight issue though. Now my Banner on the Dashboard and Admin page reads:
Pi-Star Digital Voice Dashboard for M1ABC

One of my hotspots did this, it was fixed by opening the config page and clicking the apply changes button for the block with the callsign in it and then returning to the dashboard.

Go to any of the panels on the config page and hit apply changes.

Just noticed a wee problem, that everyone appears to have moved to Badakhshan when one clicks on the callsign in Pi_Star in the RadioID Service. Or is it just me?

That is quite superb....

EDIT: Looks like it was all G / M stations, and it looks like Glen already fixed it (or at least made it look better).
