Intermittent transmission

I'll post it here, as I don't know exactly if it belongs to another sub-forum.
My configuration is:
- Simplex hotspot with Pi Zero W
- Latest Pi-Star 4.1.4 Dashboard 20210305
- YSF active
- DMR active in Gateway mode (DMR+ linked, BrandMeister connected to spain server, but no TG linked)
Since several weeks I noticed that I couldn't keep a decent QSO because both the Tx and the Rx was stopping intermittently. I was listening to any other ham, and it suddenly stopped. Several seconds later (50-60) transmission came back, and the other stations replied as if they had listened OK. So, the problem was mine...
I looked at the same time to the server dashboard (DMR+) and my hotspot dashboard. What I saw was:
- When in reception, the server dashboard showed my hotspot as retransmitting the traffic ok, but when audio dropped, the dashboard of my hotspot looked as if the other station stopped transmitting.
- When in transmission, my dashboard showed incoming RF traffic (mine), but the server dashboard showed nothing in the "drop out" times.
I thought of a HT failure, but my hotspot was receiving RF...
Then I thought of a Wifi issue, but the link quality is about 65%. Not great, but enough.
Then I thought of a MMDVM board failure.
Then, I tried YSF. SURPRISE! It works perfectly. No Tx drop outs, nor Rx drop outs.
Back to DMR, issues again.
MMDVM board DMR only failure??
Today I was carrying a test with a couple of hams, each one with his own hotspot. They noticed my issues with DMR, and reported very good audio from YSF.
Then I switched from DMR Gateway to DMR+ only...
Guess what? NO ISSUES. PERFECT TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION.
I have to carry out some more tests. I'll try it with Brandmeister only, back to Gateway...
I just want to understand what the h**l is going on (or was going on) with it... So, if anyone has an idea...
Thanks to all!!
