Has anyone had any success adding FreeDMR to Pistar when using DMR Gateway as DMR Master?
I have followed the FreeDmr instructions below, either addinding DMR Network 1 and renumbering the others , or adding DMR Network 4. Either way results in no DMR Networks showing in Dashboard, and all my DMR gateway settings get erased. So its not happy!

If using DMR Gateway

Make sure you don't include any of the comment lines (IE Any line that starts with a #) and remove any other comments within lines. Pi-Star does not parse them correctly and it ends up corrupting the entire file.

So, specifically from the example you posted, you would remove this line:

#PC for Reflector Control (Dial-a-TG)

and change this line:

Options= # See this link if you wish to use DMR Options : Static Talk Groups

to

Options=

That did the trick! Also I needed to add a name= entry for Freedmr

Graig is the "official video channel" for pistar.
Youll find a vid he did showing you how to configure for BM and TGIF.

The same process can be applied for adding more networks if you choose by changing server addresses and the tg rewrite entries.
