Trying to add the mobile platform for use on a phone, let’s me add username pi-star then for the password the cursor just keeps flashing and won’t accept and keys at all

Sounds like a problem with whatever device you are using and not anything to do with Pi-Star. Use a different device.

Or it is accepting keystrokes, but not echoing them (or a * placeholder).

Mobile dashboard hasnt worked correctly since changes made in 4.0

Its ctreator gave up on it. Appears he didnt want to keep up with regular changes and updates being made in pistar. So he mothballed it.
